Succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick, restaurant-quality meal at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 3 tablespoons (45 g) unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons (8 g) chopped fresh parsley

  • Optional: lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Pat shrimp dry and heat oil and butter in a skillet.

  • Sear shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink; remove.

  • Sauté garlic in remaining butter for 30–45 seconds.

  • Return shrimp to skillet, toss with garlic butter, and add lemon juice.

  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the skillet for even searing. Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to enjoy the buttery sauce.
